What happens when the mistakes you made when you were younger come back to haunt you? Do you try and make amends or embrace them as a part of yourself?
Our heroine moves in a new apartment with some quirky roommates and a very talkative cat. As things are starting to look up for her, her past comes back knocking, in the form of a very angry Japanese heiress and corporate conspiracy that will spark a war between two of the biggest Corporations in the city.
Will she try unravel said conspiracy or just headbutt away her problems? Will she retake control of her life or just go with the flow? And why is everyone so goddamn horny???
Actual Roommates is a very horny, very lesbian comedy VN about a goth girl with some baggage.
Find her the perfect girl (or build her a sapphic harem), make her a perfect bottom or an aggressive top and guide her through a very important(?), very serious(???) plot with its heartfelt moments and ridiculous fight scenes.

Yeah, Itch doesn't allow funds either "donated" to a free project or spent on a file to count when you upload a new file with a higher price set for just that file. So many people use Itch to have the project at $0 and Itch won't change their system to reflect how people actually use it, because they intended the file pricing to be for DLC additions, not the main game file. Seen other devs make that mistake and lock purchasers out of content if they increase the price further on in development.
The current Summer Bundle did include the paid Windows version when I downloaded, so I'm guessing you made the final version the project file, and set the others to $0 individually?
Yes, I had to because of Steam policy.
Just wondering, will the windows/linux be free at any point? wanted to play this game again but realized to redownload it, it isnt free.
i played through the game for the first time last night, and was pleasantly surprised. i'll be looking forward to the sequel. the translations of the cat's meows had me laughing until my eyes watered. :) i'll definitely have to play through again to unlock some more endings.
hmmm followed the ingame walkthrough and so many scenes were missed. Going by the pictures the 2nd from the top that scene never happened. I even remember a choice for her that said something about a scene in the future but it still never happened. Even the 3rd picture from the bottom with the strap-on never happened.
The scenes you miss by following the in-game walkthrough are either story dependent or variant of scenes for situations in which you are not romancing every girl (for example, instead of a threesome with Emily and Alex you get a scene with only Alex or only Emily).
The PDF walkthrough has a section with all the scenes and how to unlock them.
I romanced everyone and all the strap-on scenes only MC wore it. That picture with Emily wearing it and Alex holding it never happened.

Yes, that specific variant happens if MC is a bottom. If you wanna just see it without having to replay the whole game, you can simply open it in the replay gallery, there you get prompted on which version you want to see.

love the game, great story, great characters and as a cat person loved the episode of cat, looking forward to the sequel that was teased after the credits, hopefully it can be influenced from the endings that people chose, my canon ending is the legend ending

Hello! After 100% completing the thing I was wondering (and if you don't mind me asking), is there any reference specific you got to make Riri? I reaaaally loved her character (so much so that I devoted 2 initial monogamous playthroughs as top and bottom and re-read the bottom one twice, and finished all the poly endings just to see more of her in different context).
Anyways, I was just wondering out of curiosity >< hope to see someone like her in part two!
I don't know how to post this without spoilers if not all have finish play the final chap. But the girl at the end that starts season 2 will we be able to change her name or not. I got no problems with the name you gave her but in a way I do I had knew a girl with that same name and she.... just say always gave me into trouble at work where I use to work at and well. Seeing that name and hear it again gives me the grrrrr fillings. So tell me we can change her name?
Yes. The future MC's name will be changeable, much like in this game.
Really REALLY enjoyed this one. Maybe a little vanilla but I loved the storyline. Great humor and, of course, the cat was my favourate! Loved the cat MC episode as well. I think its amazing how there can be such sweet and hearty moments between the sex scenes, not just in this game but in many others too. Some can be real tear-jerkers. Got super attatched to the MC and loved her persona. Was constantly rooting for her the whole time. If anyone could turn my GF gay - it would be her. A top tier AVN! Highly recommneded!
I gotta say, this is one of my top faves by far. The lewds aside (not knocking those who enjoy them, but animations don't really do nothing for me compared to the real thing), this story, characters, music and especially the MC are absolutely fucking awesome. I would absolutely let this MC steal my wife and not be mad at it one bit.
listen: you guys did incredible. The game is great, fun, easy to read, the scenes are plenty and super hot (and can be twiked into being more of a top or a bottom), and the endings are super wholesome. Really like, probably my favorite "horny vn" I've played so far.

Gosh what a banger of a story, and great cast of girls. I really appreciate the VN prompts showing you the good choices to take, and the explanations are super helpful with the paths you take. Thanks for creating such a lovely, and hot game!
